My wife and I love Thai food. Whenever we get a chance to dine out, Thai food is usually our number one choice or pretty close to it. A couple years ago we had a chance to check out a trendy Thai place in Honolulu called Keo's. We were not disappointed at all. The service was quick and friendly and our food satisfied our taste, as well as our growling stomaches. The vegetables for our dishes were fresh and crisp, and the Thai tea was not too sweet. Thai tea can be too sweet in many restaurants and I'm not into things that are overbearingly sweet, but some of you may like that sort of thing. :)

The only thing that might have been uncomfortable about our experience was where we were seated. It's an open air restaurant with beautiful interior design, but we could reach out and touch pedestrians walking down the sidewalk if we wanted. It was an interesting experience however since I've never dined in a setting so unique.

For those of you not familiar with Thai food, it can be a very spicy experience. So for you Thai food virgins, I'd recommend trying something mildly spicy at first, such as Pad Thai noodles or fresh spring rolls. Pat Thai noodles usually comes with peanuts so avoid it if you're allergic. Of course, if you love spicy food, you could always go for the red or green curry dishes.

I recommend checking out Keo's on your next trip to Honolulu or if you're just passing through and need a bite to eat. They are usually pretty busy at night so expect a wait. I can't remember if they take reservations, so you might want to call ahead and check. You can check out their website here where they have their menu and prices for all to see.
