Keo's Thai Cuisine

My wife and I love Thai food. Whenever we get a chance to dine out, Thai food is usually our number one choice or pretty close to it. A couple years ago we had a chance to check out a trendy Thai place in Honolulu called Keo's. We were not disappointed at all. The service was quick and friendly and our food satisfied our taste, as well as our growling stomaches. The vegetables for our dishes were fresh and crisp, and the Thai tea was not too sweet.

Dinner Cruise

There are several companies in Oahu that offer sunset dinner cruises. I went on one....In my opinion it is not worth it. The food is ok, not great and the entertainment is nothing special, you can see it for free. In Waikiki there are a lot of free shows almost every day of the week. On of them is on Friday at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Just look at the Oahu today guide. It will tell you where to go every night for free entertainment.

Planning out fun and activities ahead can save some $$$

Planning out activities and fun ahead can be complicated and spendy :)
Prior to arrival at your destination at the beautiful islands of Hawaii you may want to browse the www pages for some good deals and specials on the activities. My personal most recent search for discounts on activities in Honolulu, Oahu were pretty successful. I found a Go Oahu card which can be pre-paid and pre-planned for just $ 89.99

North Shore's Surf-N-Sea

Located in Haleiwa on the North Shore, Surf-N-Sea is probably my favorite place in Hawaii to shop for tshirts, board shorts, and other cool beach/summer apparel. I've always found really cool brand name clothing there (Quicksilver, Reef, Roxy, etc). The tshirts are pretty cheap, and the store always seems to have something on sale when I was there. This is where I purchased my first pair of Reef sandals since the plastic flip flops I had were really chaffing the tops of my feet raw. I was in pain!

VRBO - Vacation Rentals by Owner

Sometimes when traveling, you don't want to stay in a hotel or resort. You'd rather stay in a condo or house to get a different lodging experience. A few years ago, I found a great resource for just that. It's called VRBO, which stands for Vacation Rentals By Owner. I've been using this great website for vacation planning ever since!
